Gita Jayewardene

My name is Gita Jayewardene. I started as a volunteer at the Lucia Child Care Study center on Parnassus in 1990. Through that experience, I realized that I wanted to make working with children my profession. Next I obtained my Associate of Arts in Child Development and later a BA in Child and Adolecent Development from SFSU. I have been an assistant teacher and currently am a Teacher I. I have worked at this center for almost fifteen years. I really love my job!
