Heidy McLean

Hello, my name is Heidy and I have been a Teacher at Lucia for eight months but I have been in the field of early care and education for over five years. I began my child care career working n a privately owned center when my daughter Brianna was two years old. Then when I gave birth to my son Jevani and I took some time off. Later I went back to work for the Head Start program. I have an AA degree from City College and I got my California Teacher Permit. My mother told me that when I was in Kindergarten, I told her that I wanted to be a Teacher. It's a great feeling when you want to come to work each day.
