Joanna YeeHi, my name is Joanna Yee. I am 22 years old and was born here in San Francisco at the UCSF Children's Hospital. I speak Chinese as well as another dialect of Cantonese known as Toisan as well as English. I live with my mom, dad, brother, and fraternal twin sister. I am the first generation in my family to go to college. I go to San Francisco State University and I am studying Child and Adolescent Development; Concentration in the Young Child and Family. I work as a substitute teacher at UCSF Child Care Study Center and help in the office too. Working with the children has been an interesting experience for me. I have always loved being with the kids and playing with them. Now that I am working with them, it brings a smile to my face to see them play, learn, and have fun. Another interest that I have is working with infants. I hope I will get a chance to work with them when the Lucia Center starts caring for them next year. I like helping people and assisting them in any way that I can. I enjoy the hot weather and sleeping in when I can. I also enjoy shopping and going out with friends.
